This item includes the Mission DayBed solid hardwood frame with an AirLay 8 inch fill white futon mattress. THE MATTRESS - Our AirLay futon mattress has a patented fibre-foam core which helps the mattress spring back to life and retain its shape. The foam core is wrapped in multiple layers of pure cotton batting which gives the futon a soft natural feel. We vacuum-pack and box each futon mattress just before shipping. ABOUT POPLAR HARDWOOD - The Mission Day Bed frame is made of smooth, clean, unfinished poplar hardwood. The wood has been kiln dried and planed on 4 sides to be smooth to the touch.
